Old Town Mexican Cafe

Love this place here in old town. Great food and drinks! It was during the week but felt like a Friday with no wait. Awesome and friendly staff with a great environment.

Came here because the place I wanted to go was closed. They have a very large menu. The food felt rustic and authentic. It was simple but tasty. They make their tortillas on site and everyone can watch it. Our server was extremely pleasant. My friend had the churro which she loved.

First of all, I think the old town is the most vivid place in San Diego. Every time I go to SD, it's impossible not to stop by there. It has great restaurant and Mexican Cafe was one of the good ones. I had steak and I absolutely loved it. It was very well cooked and at the same time juicy with cheese on top and s little spicy salsa over that. It came with rice and beans. The staff were super friendly and I'd definitely go back there when I'm back in SD

A sentimental favorite. I go here for soul-nourishing food and ambiance... ambiance created by the sounds of my lineage language and music permeate this place.

Oh town is a wonderful place to visit. It has a lot of historic places for children and is very good for history studies. There is plenty to purchase as there are a million shops located and the plaza. Excellent for tourists. There are of course, some free places to visit and it's all very nice and clean.
