I got the oatmeal stout. It was smooth and exactly what I would expect from it. The atmosphere of the brewery was friendly. Dogs are allowed. Major plus.
Interesting bar. Three stories, and you access the rooftop outdoor area via winding staircases. The
2nd floor is rather small, with a shuffleboard game. The roof is the place to be, especially on a breezy afternoon. Plenty of draft beers to chose from. Our server was bright and cheery, and kept the beers and tacos coming for our group of 15.
It’s fairly rustic, and parking is impossible. But that’s the case for the entire OB area. I always avoid the stress and Park a few blocks away.
Cool spot for some good food and craft beer. The service was quick and helpful. The location can't be beat, half a block from the ocean .there's multiple levels and even a couple game tables. I'll def be back !
Ocean Beach Brewery is one of the better breweries that I have been to in the San Diego area. Mostly, I would put this down to the view from the upper deck. Located maybe 50 yards from the beach, OBB has an outstanding view of the water from the upper deck. The drinks are reasonably priced for the location, but the beer selection was not outstanding in my experience. The food was superb albeit a bit expensive compared to other places in the area. However, I still found the experience to be rewarding and pleasant. What's better than walking less than a minute, grabbing a few drinks and snacks, and heading back to the beach?
