My favorite location for Italian food. i love this place, great food & service. definitely worth a return trip. it has a cool feel to it. not close to my job, i wish it was.

Their bar is excellent. Try The Matador. Excellent herbal, gin-based cocktail. And if you get there early enough you can grab a seat at the bar, no reservations necessary, and eat right there! Beats having to get a reservation a day or two in advance. The food is very good and will make you come back. Great service to complete the experience.

Excellent food, good drinks and service. Squash blossoms, fresh delicious salads with great contrasting flavors, traditional thin crust pizza, steak very well prepared, and delicious desert (chocolate salted custard sort of thing). A bit loud and echoes, but not too clangy. Atrium is fun for people watching. Fire further inside. Tall chairs.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing anniversary dinner here. Our server Kevin was outstanding and had great recommendations for wine and food. We both got pasta and it was fresh and full of meat and delicious. The chicken liver pate and bread was delicious too. We couldn't be happier! We were told they are building a new restaurant in Poway come 2020!

Classic SD bistro - food always interesting and well executed. Known for their great barmen and retail wine selection.

Usually crowded but they have a system to accommodate guests at the bar and high tops (which is my fave place to dine) if you don’t have a reservation.
