Civico by The Park

The server was so sweet. We had the mussels which were so meaty and delicious. I had the lobster ravioli and my mom has the pomodoro salad with salmon. I think our favorite was the salad, the olive oil was so delicious as well as the salmon.

Tonight was my first time at Civico By The Park. Food is absolutely delicious, authentic Italian food served in a beautiful hip meets elegant environment by a first-rate service team. Awesome meal. Can’t wait to go back.

What can I say about Civico other than they are always amazing at what they do. :) My fiance and I have been going to their Little Italy location almost every week and now with their recent opening of Civico by the Park we have a new favorite added to our list!
I have had their Parmigiana pizza in both the Calabrian and Pinsa Romana styles and it is heaven -- so much flavor in one bite. I love the cocktail menu that Simona has put together. She made me one of the best cocktails I have ever had which is the Negroni Al Rabarbaro. It's a perfect balance of sweet, herbal and smoky. It made me want to learn to make it at home! Our waiter, Alex, was full of great recommendations and was very attentive. Thank you for providing us such a wonderful experience!
Their outdoor experience is great and a little more peaceful being next to Balboa Park. Overall the experience is wonderful, staff is ALWAYS amazing and attentive.
I want to give a shoutout to Simona. She has been oustanding since day one at Civico 1845 and I am so happy that she recommended we check out Civico by the Park. I have since recommended it to friends and everyone I know that loves good food. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Beautifully designed space with comfortable spacious outdoor terrace for dining. Great cocktails, wine list and especially amazing pastas and authentic cuisine from Calabrian region of Italy. So happy it’s in our neighborhood! Friendly and knowledgeable servers.

Keeps up the Standards of Civico 1845 with the addition of amazing pizza! I have probably been to the 1845 location 50 times or so and the by park location is just a good with a few differences. The location and style is different but just as good. 1845 is great for the bustling area of little Italy but this location is more peaceful and I would say cleanlier area of town. I think for out door dining this location is better. The inside is more modern than the indoor of 1845 but both environments are great so its just up to preference between the two locations. Overall, you cant go wrong by the park. For outdoor dining I would probably choose this location, it also keeps you away from the somewhat over crowded closed down india steet on weekends. Food wise both locations are fantastic. Simona as always is great and has made a wonderful lineup of cocktails. Alex our waiter was also super friendly and attentive, and got us hooked on the zucchini appetizer...try it!
