Wow! What an incredible Mission Valley gem. ARLO’s ambiance, service, drinks and food are so impressive. Would highly recommend for a cute date night or a special celebration.

We had the ‘Blur’ cocktail with coconut cream and tequila. So delicious! And tried a couple other cocktails that were also perfect.

And then the best part... the food! This is the most elevated comfort food I’ve ever had. I was so impressed. Everything we ate (which was a lot, haha) had beautiful plating and incredible depth of flavor.

The octopus was hands down the best I’ve had since I can remember. Perfectly tender, beautifully plated and served with such delicious and unique flavors. The lamb meatballs... MMM. So tasty. Can’t wait to try other starters when we come back too.

Then my girls and I shared 3 entrees- Scallops, Short ribs, and the pork roll. Each beautifully plated and served with delicious accompaniments. I will definitely be telling people to come here for the short ribs and pork roll. They were done so well and with such elegance for such comfort food. The scallops were delicious too, but those meat dishes will definitely have me coming back to have again.

Only minimal critiques were the meatballs and octopus were a bit salty for my pallet. And the scallops could have used a little more acidity. But seriously, I’m a harsh critic — all in all I still can’t believe it took me this long to try ARLO and I’m stoked to find this level of fine dining for a reasonable price right in Mission Valley. Will 10/10 recommend and be going back!

Everything about Arlo blew me away! There is plenty of outdoor seating on their beautiful patio that makes you feel like you are on vacation. The service at this restaurant was top notch and they have some of the best cocktails I've had in San Diego!! In terms of food, everything I tried was FANTASTIC and beautifully presented. If you love good food and drink, I highly recommend this place!! They also have an AMAZING dessert menu, as well. Make sure to get the honey beehive dessert--they flambé it tableside!

I went here for dinner and drinks with some friends after work after we had heard some buzz around the new elevated dining experience + new foodie find in Mission Valley and we were very impressed!

The food was absolutely amazing! There were 5 of us which was perfect because we got to try a lot of their different menu items - perfect for sharing! We tried the deviled pork jar, pulpo & passion, fungi wood fired flatbread, sea scallops & peas, pork belly roll, & my personal favorite the Thai carrot pasta. All of the food had a great presentation and everything tasted so fresh. There was no detail left untouched! We paired our dinner with their wine, they have a very notable wine list as well as some of their specialty hand crafted cocktails.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great as well. Everything was brand new and you could tell. There was light music playing and it was an overall quiet evening. It was great because you couldn't tell that you were centered in the heart of Mission Valley. It was great for outdoor dining and perfect for any occasion – happy hour, date night, or a special occasion like a birthday or an anniversary.

The staff was very attentive and our waters were full. Our server, Brooke, was friendly and gave us great recommendations on the menu. The restaurant manager, Jarrod, came out to make sure that our dinner was everything we wanted – which it was. Chef Josh (!!!) personally brought out our dinner to ensure that everything looked good. He was so personable, I’ve never had a chef come out to see a table, that was a very nice touch that they do.

All of my friends and I can't wait to come again! 100% a new foodie find in San Diego! They also validate for parking – which was amazing! Where else can you get free parking for dinner?!
