This place was nice. The staff were very nice and attentive. Their drinks a bit on the expensive side for a small cocktail. I had the nacho appetizer and it was very well portioned and the meat was flavorful. But i didn't really like their menu. It was boring and the options did not sound appealing.
My husband and I enjoyed the chips with queso and some single tacos. The avocado taco is a delicious vegetarian option although I got it because I love avocado. Also the fish taco and beef were excellent. Enjoyed a glass of wine while my husband had mezcal.
A spacious, light filled space with windows to the ceiling all round. The food was superb from start to finish, from the scrumptious calamari, to the delicious enchiladas, the savory red wine sangria, and the yummy flan. Fine service too.
This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city!! The happy hour is incredible, the staff is super friendly and the food is to die for! Those double nachos and their twist on classic tacos are to die for! Not to mention all the rad cocktails, frosé till I die. It's a must if you're in SD.
From the moment we walked it the hostess was very attentive. While we were waiting for the hostess to accommodate our request for seating, the manager (I think) came over to ensure we were acknowledged. Once seated the waitress came over and was very informative about the tequila differences and selections. They delivered our flights beautifully and explained the chasers. The reason a 5 wasn't given was because of the waiting for our waters, orders. Overall, I will be returning.
