Beeside Balcony

Robert was our very courteous server. The chicken gyro was tasty and plenty of food for a meal. Authentic taste. My acai bowl was huge and a sugar high. Superb taste and filled with delicious granola. You must try the prickly pear ginger beer! Most refreshing taste in town. Bathroom is clean and unisex. Total for 2 people is about $50. Thanks to Robert for your help.

Great spot for a wonderful vibe ! Amazing food creations that invigorate your tastebuds and give you an experience. Great date night, get together spot. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful live music every Fridays. I ordered the Chilean sea bass that came with a buttery fennel reduction, my friend had the octopus ( a must have) with arugula salad topped with red onions, bacon and feta enhanced the octopus flavor. We chose potatoes purée as a side dish , which complimented all the flavors of the seafood . Ended the dinner with a delicious perfect lemon tart !! Loved my experience will definitely be back for more! Chef Christoph met us personally and gave us such a warm welcome and he is a very cool guy! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu next time!!

Okay here it goes:

The 🐙…. I see why they recommend it and why the chef prepares it as he does. It’s great. My date wasn’t much for octopus and even she had good things to say about it. Simple, yet delicious.

The atmosphere is… semi open concept with retractable doors that allow for indoor outdoor seating.

What set it above and beyond for me was the service. The server was knowledgeable and knew the menu well. She described the dishes well and wasn’t pleasantly surprised with her recommendations.

One of the only caveats I’ll share with you is this…. On the Brussels 🌱 aka Brussels sprouts…. If you’re looking for a healthy appetizer these are done with minimal seasoning and oil. If you prefer fully seasoned Brussels sprouts I would pass. Other than that I think there’s not much I want to add. Stay blessed everyone.

Loved this place. It has a great view of the ocean from the balcony, and the interior is beautiful. The staff were very personable and the food and drinks were *chef’s kiss* amazing. Added bonus of being a newer location, we were seated right away, instead of the 20 minute wait for Cody’s. Highly recommend.

Great start to a second Beeside! My husband and I love this place. The La Jolla location just opened this week and is absolutely beautiful. The food is top notch just like at the Beeside in Del Mar. I actually got scallops this time instead of my usual Spanish Octopus (love this dish), and the scallops were perfectly done with just the right amount of truffle. My husband loves the sea bass. You really can’t go wrong with any of the dishes though. The pita bread that comes with the Trio of Dips is phenomenal. The balcony has a pretty ocean view and the drinks are great! The staff is super friendly also :)
