Cody's La Jolla

This review was from a visit in August of 2019.

The staff were amazingly pleasant, hospitable, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We had a large party of 8, including a 100lbs Rottweiler, and they didn't blink an eye. We had a late breakfast there, and the food was delicious. I had a burger, spicy chicken tacos, and the coffee and beer were great.

I'd come back with my family for the great views and great service. We didn't have to flag anyone down for service as there was someone always close by who was attentive. Kudos to the staff during this time, and the manager as well.

If and when the situation of covid changes, we'd like to come back for another visit.

Great brunch spot. Beautiful views and acceptable service. Food was really good. We shared the French toast which was right on. I had the veggie has which was good. The fish and chips and not are amazing. The blt has mounds of bacon.

Great location with a ocean view to make any meal worth a visit. Outdoor seating was comfortable, a bit cold but hey it’s January. Omelette was great on crisp potatoes, as ordered. Did notice a bit of briny flavor occasionally, kitchen might want to separate spatulas. Some sticker shock when I spotted $4.50 for Kona coffee, not sure if that’s their regular pour but no where near Kona flavor. Def paying for location and view.

Very good food in a nice area. I very simple menu but really good options. The coffee is really good too. My favorite thing about eating here is looking out to the view of the ocean. It's on the perfect corner.

Cody's was so delicious, I had fish tacos rice beans.

I sat by a fire place, looking out at the water with a peek a boo view inside the restaurant.

Our server was respectful and kind.

I will return when I return to California.

Cody's has inside and outside seating, they serve alcohol drinks.

Great place by the beach, close to a park along the water.
