Carmelita's Kitchen de Mexico

I can't say enough amazing things about Carmelita's! I'm lucky to have to this new spot in my building, as it's literally become my after work haven :) They began their services with an abbreviated menu and soon after launched their full menu, which did not disappoint! So far, I've had the queso, shrimp taquitos, taco Salad, ceviche and nachos. Everything has been super flavorful without being too heavy. Their guacamole and side of rice and beans are a must and some of the best flour tortillas I've ever had! Don't even get me started on the margaritas :) The house marg is my favorite, not to sweet and just the right amount of tequila. All around 5 stars, highly recommend.

Both dine in and take out were very enjoyable. Had the chimichanga and a steak burrito to go. Friendly staff with good music and decor.

Had a very enjoyable experience eating here after the Padre game. Great atmosphere, Food was delicious.

Food was amazing. The service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Went to pickup takeout. Was met inside by the manager, nice gentleman, who let me know my food would be ready shortly. Went ahead and paid for my order which was then ready at 4 which is the time I ordered it for. Food was excellent. Ordered the pork Chile verde chimichanga. There was enough to feed three people. Came with sour cream and excellent Guacamole. Rice and beans included. Also included was a bag of excellent chips and salsa.
The only complaint I have is that they do not open until 11AM. Be nice if they opened earlier for breakfast.
Will be looking forward to going back and trying different things.
