Absolutely fulfilled all my breakfast cravings today on a single platter. You can find the Taste of every corner from India here at Dosa Studio. Enjoyed the live Pani Puri counter on the weekend. We dined outside in the beautiful weather and the servers came out and served us water and hot Dosas. Halwa Puri is my favorite from the buffet.

I came here for brunch today and was not disappointed. The place was packed around 11:00 AM and stayed that way the entire time I was there. You pay for your food before they seat you, and then you can help yourself to the buffet. They seem to rotate what they offer, and today they had several chutneys, sambar, dahi dosa, uppam, pulao, palak pakora, and a couple of rice dishes. I was familiar with a lot of South Indian dishes but I loved that this gave me the opportunity to try ones I haven't heard of before.
They had mysore pak and rava kesari as the dessert options and I'm telling you I could have drowned myself in the kesari. The chai was piping hot and fresh, not too spicy but I definitely took a cup to go.
The waiters are attentive and bring around fresh dosas often. They turn over the tables quickly as there is always a party waiting. Everything is vegetarian and I didn't miss the meat at all, all the seasoning and spice level was perfect. The puri was amazing and fresh also. Nothing at the buffet sits out or even lasts longer than five to 10 minutes.
There is tons of seating inside but they also offer seating on the patio outside. Outside was quite nice and you could share tables with others if needed.
They also now offer a chaat table inside which has offered pani puri and samosa chaat.

We had a brunch buffet. The food was tasty. Good South Indian food. Dosa and Chole Puri were too good.
And the service was really good. We entered the store almost at the closing time, still the people served us with a smile.

This place is going to be flooded with customers! The weekend buffet for $15 is amazing and the food is pretty good too. There are variety of options for people to try and they stick to traditional south Indian flavors. Some of the items need work which is understandable given they produce them in large quantities. I would say improvements in Idli and coconut chutney are needed. Everything else was very delicious!

New Dosa spot alert - they are upcoming and fast making their name. The Dosa could be crispier but the Vedha is hands down the best in San Diego. Soft and fluffy, and the chutneys are thick and delicious. Sambar and Dosa can be improved but they are fast making it so. Food prep has already become better than the opening week. Very tasty still. We ordered Ghee Masala Dosas (could be crispier), Mysore Masala Dosa (perfect soft on inside), Podi Masala Dosa (very very good), and Butter Masala Dosa. Always order the Vedha as it is airy, and crispy and light! Didn't get idly this time but the manager came over and let us know the Idly wasn't the best that day and instead we upgraded to Uttapums which was delicious as heck. San Idli does a better job overall but Dosa Studio has a more convenient location, and has the ambience of a good American dining restaurant. The order process is not as daunting as San Idli where you almost have to be quick to secure your food and a table. Dosa Studio is better for dates and taking families who don't want to deal with San Idli's chaos (albeit the slightly better tasting grub). 10/10 would recommend for dates.. they are also always stacked with Peanut chutney and Mango Lassi
