Great price and great service. This is a solid lunch spot.
I was never a huge fan of poke until I tried it here. A medium sized poke bowl was enough for 2 meals for me. They have a ton of toppings that you can choose from and different sauces to spice it up. The boba was also good— and I'm from OC/LA, where we take boba very seriously!
Everything is fresh, clean.
Valorie helped me and was really nice and fast. The guy with no Name and no Eye Contact was there too.
I wanted to like this Poke. It's sorta my fault 'you tell them how to make it"
I felt everything was drier than other Poke bowls that I have had.
The sauce didn't get to the rice and salad at all. They do stuff every down a lot but the sauce doesn't get on every you have to get home and transfer to another bowl to mix it. - still felt dry.
Overall very enjoyable poke experience. The fish tastes very fresh, spicy tuna really brings the heat one would expect, and the rice nicely cooked. All the sides are very tasty, I especially appreciate the Krab salad scoop was mixed with some sweet mayo for some extra flavor, and that the seaweed salad was given in moderate amounts, unlike other places that just dump it on your bowl.
The only suggestion I have is the sauce. I ordered a combination of Co House Sauce and Dragon Breath Sauce, I don't know which one it is but it feels too vinegary and a little overpowering. I would prefer a sweet and savory sauce like that in Poke One N Half, or just reduce the vinegar.
