Seafood tasted so fresh, like it was caught that morning. Oysters were shucked on the spot for oyster shooters. Loved the spices on the beer. Finger-licking good! The margaritas were perfect, not too sweet with lots of flavor. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!
The food was delicious and the owner (manager maybe?) was very attentive. The line to order was short and the wait to receive our food was very reasonable. There are some common Mariscos dishes missing from their menu, but in their place are some interesting options.
A good find was out running errands and came across this restaurant. Was surprisingly good for being a small little hole in the wall place and they serve alcohol.
I had a spicy octopus taco and fish taco. They were both good but liked the flavor of the fish taco better. My son had two pesto, octopus tacos and was the best thing I tasted. My husband had two beef tacos he dipped into a soup. We also enjoyed ceviche and guacamole as appetizers. Everything was delicious.
Update: went again today with some family and got birria tacos, birria nachos and fideo seafood soup and it was all very delicious.
Can't speak for authenticity, but the food was really delicious. My husband and I went halfsies on the shrimp ceviche and the birria nachos. Mmmmm. So much great flavor in both dishes, but the birria nachos really were the bomb and they were more filling too. First birria experience and I haven't found another like it yet! And that pepper on top. No idea what kind of pepper it was but it was pickled and not spicy like I thought it'd be (just took a small bite in case because spicy isn't my thing and hubby finished it off). Husband kept talking about how much he liked their hot sauce with his food. I'm heading to bed right now but salivating just at the memory of the food! It did have a small kick but I could handle it (disclaimer: I'm somewhat sensitive to spicy. Husband couldn't tell at all lol)
Wow! Wow! Wow! We were in PB and in the mood for ceviche. The place near us ended up being closed ( google said it was open, so lesson learned is always call first). So we eneded up driving to this place. Sooooo happy we did!!! Wife had Aguachiles (red and green mix) said it was one of her favorites. I had 1 queso taco (which has shrimp), 1 mango habanero which had al pastor and 1 pork belly taco. OMG! By far the best tacos I have ever had. The queso taco had the right amount of cheese and shrimp (sauce was not hot). The pork belly was the hottest one and the meat was crispy (exceptional). The mango habanero was al pastor and perfectly cooked.
We had a mango margarita which was perfect. Did not have the flavor of alcohol but definitely had it a perfect mix.
My wife happens to be an aguachile aficionado and said it was the best she has ever had.
I usually wait a few days to write my reviews but could not wait. This place is clean, had good vibes and a good mix of tropical music.
The cooks were friendly and the cashier was exceptional, and knowledgeable. We are so glad we found this place.
