Filippi's Pizza Grotto Little Italy

We got the half special and half the works pizza. Dinning was great outdoor while during covid time.

The food was incredible! Incredible portions for the price. Although you are sitting outside it is really nice! From Arizona and would definitely come back if I am in the area!

Wonderful food! Very fun, friendly and upbeat servers! Also fairly reasonably priced. The outdoor dining areas in the parking lot and the sidewalk directly in front of the restaurant are so cute - kudos to Filippi's for providing such a great adaptation in these challenging times! It's a delightful spot with the what lovely Cool Breeze coming off of the ocean.

First time in Little Italy we didn’t know where to go eat so I googled it, and this restaurant came up. Best choice I made, the service was great (Liz) our server was very helpful in helping us choose what to eat. We had a lot of questions on food, we got pizza, pasta & salad. My whole family loved it. We will make this a tradition and drive to San Diego at least once a month and make it a tradition.

My best friend recommended this place to me. You walk into a market and then the restaurant is actually on the backside of the market (super cool concept) the food is AMAZING!! This is my new go to for Italian.
But tonight we did delivery order. So convenient!!!! The cheese ravioli are wonderful, did I mention 10 jumbo raviolis per order? Their marinara is out of this world. The butter garlic bread hits the spot, worth every cent, the sandwiches and entrees cannot be beat. And for the pizza, I ordered their eight item pizza. Cheese, sausage, mushroom, pepperoni, black olive, bell pepper, onion. Really cheesy.
Two thumbs up ! A 5 STAR rating all the way!
