I’ve been all over the world and have had some incredible omakase’s. This place hands down, is the best omakase in the country. Ambiance is very much like something you’d find in Japan. It’s intimate, but the two chefs (who are also the owners) are some of the best around and add to the dining experience with their amazing stories. It’s only a matter of time before the secret is out about this place. You’ll be lucky to get a reservation with these culinary legends in the making, a year from now…absolutely incredible meal, can’t wait to come back!
Amazing restaurant and an amazing experience. Great environment for an anniversary dinner and/or smaller group gathering. The space is very intimate and the chefs are great conversationalist who love their art.
Food was amazing. Fish selection was great and plentiful (especially the red snapper). The summer tasting selection was magnificent. Will definitely be back.
This is the best sushi restaurant in San Diego hands down. I recommend this place to couples. It's very private and intimate and worth the money.
The closest authentic Japanese experience you'll find outside of Tokyo. The quality of the food is second to none. Nothing "fishy" here. Everything tastes fresh because it is. Hiro and team curate a seasonal menu with over a dozen courses. It's not a quick service, but that's the beauty of it. Because of the ambiance and service times, you'll easily make friends with your neighbors and it'll feel more like a dinner with 10 friends. I just went back for the second time and we had an even better time than our first experience. I can't recommend this place enough. Congrats Hiroshi and team!
Was a good time. Great food. They have two Omakase options you can choose from.
Only negative is you can't order a small or large hot sake like at almost any other Japanese restaurant. They have sake options but not like way listed above.
Nice atomsphere and design overall inside too. Definitely a good option.
