Ironside Fish & Oyster

Food portions are nothing to complain about here, as well as appropriately priced. Staff treated me - a new customer, as if I were a native San Diegon.

My only complaint is food took a bit of time to get out but I give them the benefit of the doubt there ;)

Will be back again when visiting SD!

We came here visiting San Diego from out of town and this place was amazing. So amazing that we came here two days in a row eating the same things each time - “big” ironside platter, live uni, and a cup of clam chowder. Delicious, consistent, great decor, and great service! Our server was extremely helpful and made the experience all the better. We also loved the cheddar biscuits that came with the clam chowder so much we bought a dozen to take on our drive back home. Highly recommend stopping by this place in Little Italy!

It was a great experience to visit Ironside Fish & Oyster.
I went there on weekend and enjoyed the turkey french dip sandwich with pickled eggs and potato salad with a lemonade.
Ambiance reflects the history and popularity of the place. Cheers!!!

The scenery was great to look at because it was overlooking the city. It was also clean, comfortable to relax, and cool. Besides, the waiters and the waitresses were very accommodating to the customers like me. When they already served my order, I was pretty excited. Gosh! The foods were yummy and the drinks were OK. Overall, it tastes very good. I really like it a lot. Thanks!

Delicious food! Their malted vinegar dipping sauce was especially delicious. We are hot sauce enthusiasts and went home with a bottle of their 7 dot. It has perfect flavor/spice balance. Highly recommend!
