Great tasting food... you cannot go wrong eating the food from here.
A new Los Panchos Taco Shop just opened at Friars Rd in Fashion Valley. This taco shop is a chain. I've been to one in North County. It's an average taco shop. But this one in Fashion Valley is quite different. With your order, they serve you with chips and cup of bean soup which is quite good. Also, I like there salsa bar with varieties of salsa and condiments.
The place is clean, very friendly staff and they have several large size TV screen. The atmosphere is cozy and very family oriented place.
So far this the only place i get my breakfast burito for under $6 and it's quite good. I like there plate presentation. Not too fancy but pleasant to look at.
Also be aware when ordering, there is a 0.50 cents charge if you're using a credit card.
Parking may be difficult to find during rush hours like lunch.
Other than that, it is a good place to hang out.
Good eats.
Fantastic restaurant. Very great food and the fresh salsa bar was super good as well. The service was really good too. Really clean restaurant. Its definitely worth a trip there.
Solid mexican food. What makes this place a little different from most is that they serve you beans with your chips and you can make any burrito wet.
It's a family owned restaurant and the owner is super friendly. Parking can be an issue but there is parking in the back too.
A New Neighborhood Favorite
Los Panchos is a fairly new establishment in our neighborhood. My wife and I decided to try it out for the first time and were very pleased.
The parking is limited, so I recommend planning ahead. There is take-out and I believe I saw delivery as an option on Google Maps and Navigation via Door Dash. Their hours are 7 am to 11 pm.
The menu is extensive. Breakfast items are on the menu. We decided to do a sampling: Burritos - Bean & Cheese, Chile Relleno, Carne Asada (#6 Combo Plate) ; Beef Rolled Tacos; Carne Asada Tostada. We did take-out because it was a humid and we wanted to get back home to the A/C.
We also hit up the Salsa Bar and did a sampling of the many choices of both rojo and Verde salsas. A very nice range of flavors and heats that should make everyone happy. I did not sample the carrots and peppers this time, but I certainly will next time.
All the food was very good. The #6 combo came with rice, beans and Carne Asada separated. And the Tortillas were wrapped in wax paper and foil (you have a choice of corn or flour Tortillas).
The staff were friendly and helpful. The order was ready quickly.
Only one thing went wrong - the chips and salsa that "everyone gets", regardless of whether they eat in or take-out, was not included.
We will definitely be going back.
