Authentic and mind-blowing! This is truly a hidden gem, and I'm so glad I discovered it prior to it becoming even more popular. The menu is curated and thoughtful; each and every dish is delightful. The staff are warm and professional, and the atmosphere serene. This truly is one of the best restaurants in San Diego! :)
Delicious food with spectacular service at reasonable prices for restaurant quality food. I am very happy to have this place
Just opened 2 months ago and off a great start. 100% family owned Chinese dumpling spot. Had the light and crispy green onion pancakes with chicken with mushroom dumplings. Both excellent and made fresh to order. Friendly service and hope to see them succeed in the Point Loma area.
I am thrilled to discover a new Chinese/Taiwanese dumpling restaurant in Point Loma today! The service was outstanding, with attentive staff who ensured a delightful customer experience. The food arrived promptly, exceeding my expectations in terms of speed. Each dish was a delight, and loved that there was a wide variety of dumplings and appetizers to choose from.
The green onion pancake had an incredibly crispy texture that was immensely satisfying. I also relished the green chive with shrimp and pork dumplings, which were served in generous quantities of 14 per flavor ordered. To enhance the flavors, I paired them with a custom dipping sauce I created using soy sauce, chili oil, and vinegar in the spice rack.
In addition to the dumplings, I also savored the refreshing cucumber and wood ear mushroom salad, which served as a perfect palate cleanser between bites.
It's worth noting that the restaurant has limited seating, with only about four tables available. In the event that all tables are occupied, I recommend opting for takeout to enjoy the delicious food from the comfort of your own home. We shared four dishes between three people, which was perfect. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is typically always packed during lunch, but there's a handful of street parking. I look forward to trying other items on the menu and will be back!
Small little hole in the wall family owned and run dumpling spot on shelter island. They had a lot of take out orders but we chose to dine in. It’s not an ideal location for parties bigger than 4 diners.
Be prepared that food comes out as it’s ready. We were okay with that and enjoyed 2 different types of dumplings, scallion pancakes and the green onion pockets. Everything we ordered was delicious and so fresh. MADE TO ORDER! Don’t complain about having to wait, this is fresh.
Family run. Kind husband and wife and one of their parents in the kitchen. The sweet 8 yr old daughter greeted us and took our drink order.
We will be back and hope they stay for years to come.
