Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen Mission Valley

Food was good to very good. Pasta was al dente and red sauce was tangy. Fruitti di mare had lots of seafood. Prices were a little high. Ambiance was not a factor. This is a fast casual restaurant located in a mall.

First time here, will definitely not be my last. Keto pizza was the best I've ever eaten, highly recommended, and their customer service was excellent.

Just happened onto this restaurant when I was supposed to be meeting a good girlfriend for lunch at the nearby Tender Greens. We took one whiff of the stale air inside Tender Greens and walked across the mall to check out this restaurant's menu. It looked pretty good; so, we decided to give it a try. Both of us had the Lasagne along with a blended drink. She had Sangria, and I had the Mango Vodka. It was such a nice early dinner sitting outside on the patio!

I’m always impressed at how good the service is here. Employees are treated well, you can tell they are happy to be there. Service is very good, friendly and comfortable. Eaten here many times, never disappointed. Food is delicious, prices reasonable, service prompt. Well done.

I thought the food here was pretty damn good, especially since it feels like a lot of these new “trendy” places aren’t all that good. So absolutely no complaints on the food — or the service. I’m giving this place 3 stars because they don’t accept cash. I know a lot of places are doing this, but it really aggravates me when companies decide to go the card-only route. I can pay with a card, but I prefer to pay cash most of the time. I don’t want to get into an economic discussion, but there is a vast amount of people who don’t have bank accounts at all, and can ONLY pay with cash. I know people who don’t have a bank account, credit card, or anything like that, and basically the restaurant is choosing to say “no thanks, we don’t want you to come to our restaurant” under the guise of COVID. Anyways, good food, but I hope they decide to change the card only policy.
