Omg Great fantastic surprise of a place, just a couple blocks from where I moved! These were the best flakiest artichoke appetizers I’ve ever had in my life. It was like a light batter of some kind fried perfect with Parmesan cheese, grated awesome I mean really really good and then the beet salad. It was red and orange beets and goat cheese, and tons of pistachios on Romain lettuce with an awesome balsamic dressing on the side. And the artichokes appetizer came with lemon aïoli for dipping. They have a happy hour from 4 to 6 and they have wines in beers reduced. All the servers were great. The patio was just fantastic. I dare break the mood, but there were a couple of flies that were kind of aggravating on the patio but I would go back there any time to try anything on this menu. We talk to some people that come there all the time and they just told us everything was good every salad every pizza we had a slice two of the vegetarian pizza and it was to die for perfect crust thin flavorful. My friend and I shared an appetizer and a salad and a slice. They cut it in half and we had leftovers which I’m so grateful for she doesn’t like leftovers anyway what a treat to discover this place thank you thank you!
As something of a pizza snob from the East Coast, I am always hesitant to try new pizza places. That being said, I've ordered out from Sister's Pizza a few times and was in the area last night to dine in.
The service was top notch, and there are a variety of pizza, apps, drinks, and snacks. Everyone was very helpful and nice and they generally seemed happy that we were there. They have a nice outdoor patio section so you can enjoy the San Diego sunset if you go for dinner.
But we all want to know about the pizza, right? Well in my opinion, for straight up cheese pizza, they rank among my top five in San Diego. You can't beat the basic cheese pizza, they call it "Modest Mouse" if you just want a tasty classic. Last night was the first time I tried some of the additional styles of pizza. Although still very good in their own right, they seemed to lack some of the pop of the "Modest Mouse." I wouldn't say not to get them, again, they were good. But as someone who is happy with classic cheese, I found myself wishing I'd just gotten that instead. But I stress, this isn't a knock. The quality was very apparent and if you like other styles of pizza you'll be happy to try.
So I say go give them a try if you need a quality pizza and feel like you're one of the family.
Nice patio and nice food. Great area to relax and have a couple of slices!!!
The food was delicious!! I've been here twice this week and would definitely recommend this location 👌 great pizza and great atmosphere. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. My boyfriend and I ordered the Buffalo Coliflour and 4 slices of pizza: 2 Miss Piggy, 1 Uncle Jesse, and 1 BBQ chicken. I specifically love the Buffalo Coliflour even though it is on the pricy end, being around $15. But it is definitely worth it.
Great pizza slice spot . Really elevated and quality ingredients. Classic and innovative flavor combinations. Super friendly service. Short wait for lunch . Nice dining area inside and out . Average prices .
