Guys, I’m not to big on Mediterranean food. Tried my fair share of dishes (Some good, some not so much) but I’m a fan of the food here. TZATZIKI over any other appetizers, GREAT GREEK GIRO was not a disappointment (very well served), FETA FRIES are very tasty. I’ll be back to try more of the menu, that Baclava Ice cream looks like a winner. We’ll see.
THE GREAT GREEK IS THE BEST GREEK IN CALIFORNIA! YES I SAID IT! Manna & Nora were so polite and courteous to help my family with three delicious meals. We are the classic gyro which was HUGE french fries, rice Chicken kabob and even gave our daughter a small pizza! If your in San Diego you gotta eat at this place! We are forever grateful!
Overall the food was pretty good. The four dip appetizer was great because you get to try a little of it all. This was our first trip here and we wanted to try a little of everything so that helped us do that. The feta dip was probably my fave with the eggplant dip coming up next. It had a nice roasted taste to it. The hummus and tzatziki were your standard but they had fresh and good flavor over all.
Feta fries were delicious. Probably the best feta fries I’ve had to date. Melted feta with garlic and butter was just delicious. The baklava ice cream though was absolutely phenomenal. Would make a trip solely for the baklava ice cream with fresh honey.
Omgggggg everything on my plate was AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The meat was so tender and delicious. The pita bread was perfectly warm and fluffy. The salad crisp with a group of wonderful flavors. The fries… just look at them… my goodness they were amazing. My favorite? The ice cream, not bought.. but made in house. I LOVE THE ICE CREAM 🤤
Review is just for the burger.
Love:
Overall flavor and meat quality. Great hybrid burger.
Don’t love:
Bun was too big and mine was cold. Overpowered the burger. Also, I asked for medium rare and got close to well done.
Price: $11.95
Rec Level:
If the bun was heated or a bit smaller and burger was cooked to medium this would be excellent.
