Went here for our anniversary dinner and everything was exceptional. We were taken care of by Geoffrey who really knocked it out of the park. He actually curated a 7 course menu for us and everything was amazing from start to finish. Including the cocktails and wine selection. Some stand outs for me where the coquilles st jacques, tomates à l’ancienne, tartine aux oignons and the poulet à la moutarde. Management was also on their game making sure to touch the table and show the love, thanks Kadija for making sure our experience was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Not to be missed. This is a delightful bistro/restaurant with an outdoor patio that gives you the vibes of Europe (France or Italy). The food is great for sharing and I suggest you do that because there are so many great dishes and you may want to try them all.
We were a group of 5 so we tried almost every item on the menu. YUM! Starting with a delightful citrus flavored Oyster - this was refreshing and a surprise. Even our oyster hating friend tried them... she was impressed... not slimy or fishy... just a clean flavor that left the palate wanting more. The was followed by scallops. What can I say, it is hard to screw up scallops. This chef has a deft hand in searing them perfectly and accompanying them with a get sweet and spicy garnish... loved. To accompany these 2 sharing plates we had the bread - a winner with the onion butter. One dish that is amazing is the riff on the French Onion soup. Absolutely inspired and delicious as was the heirloom tomato dish. The Asparagus was a miss for me but others loved it. I found few veggies and mostly sauce and egg. The Chicken Roulade was so moist and so delicious that I would return for that. Accompanied with the Onion Tart ... that is a great meal for 1. I am not a sweets person per se but I did try them so I could comment. First dish was an interpretation of a Mille Feuille and it didn't disappoint. The second dessert was a version of a crumble with fruit compote (didn't try it).
So my final comment is that I hope this Restaurant becomes a mainstay on the San Diego dining scene and that all foodies give it some love. Bon Appetite

So much flavour in each dish...my wife and I had an anniversary celebration there, ordered 4 food items and we were super full! Each dish was fantastic in its own way. Absent is not my thing, but cocktails were great too. Worth trying at least once.

Wormwood didn't wow me this time like it did on my first visit. It could be because on my first visit I started with the artichoke salad, which was out of this world. this time nothing wowed me until we got to the scallops which was our third course. What I really noticed in this visit was how tiny every serving was. We spent $165 and then went home and ate leftover pasta. It's excellent food. The back patio is very nice and the music is much less obnoxious out there. Inside it's way too loud. Definitely visit Wormwood, but be prepared to spend a lot for a small amount of excellent food.

I was completely blown away by the experience here! Every single dish was delectable and well crafted. The flavors were all perfect on every single plate. The only complaint about the food was that there wasn't more of it! Will definitely be back here again, this was hands down the best meal I've had in quite some time.
The staff was incredible and attentive, very honest about the menu and options, helped guide our table to making great decisions (although I don't think any would have been bad). Such a cute little spot, very intimate but not awkwardly small. Our table had the perfect amount of space and silence.
