This place deserves 10 stars absolutely perfect high quality food phenomenal service would be back ! can’t wait to revisit!!! Our server was super friendly and nice she knew a ton about sake and made the whole dining experience very enjoyable ! Best yakitori in San Diego a true gem

Amazing meal and service. Wonderful experience end to end, great sake tasting and food pairing. Will absolutely be back. Nothing close to this outside of Japan.

Not very big place but worth the wait

Please make a reservation on Yelp before going and save yourself the wait!I came on a not too busy late dinner on a weekday and LOVED it! I've seen the criticism, but despite that I gave it a shot. Maybe it was a good idea to go when they were less busy and I would recommend it. The servers were really nice and helpful. The food came out at a reasonable pace and I would definitely recommend the dumplings, beef noodle soup, and rice

Arrived at 5:45 and was seated right away at 6:00. Skewers were good to amazing, delicious but far from fancy. Beef, chicken heart, chicken thigh with onions, and scallops were favorites. Service was friendly but not over the top. Pacing was perfect, about 1.5 hours to eat over a large bottle of sake. Any shortcomings of the space were made up for by the quirks, like many unusual but harmless “rules” posted around the place. Will definitely return.
