I have nothing to complain about when it comes to San Marcos. I love the Cow Shed.

A local hole in the wall bar that is now a signature staple to San Marcos. Everyone goes here from college students to the regulars to people passing by. They got dollar bills on the wall. Lotta history here. They got bands on the weekends ranging from rock metal country occasional DJ nights hip-hop

Local dive bar so come inside under that context. The inside is larger than passing by would suggest. Patrons of all ages were having fun with Karaoke and dancing on a not too busy Saturday night. Bartenders are not attentive or friendly. Large parking area in the back. Pool tables and darts available.

I liked it for what it is, a quirky dive bar. The karaoke has quite a following that's entertaining to watch. The DJ kept things fun with singing himself and kept the drunks moving along. I got charged two different prices for same drinks at bar so keep an eye on that. ????
