Excellent food, and very good service. This is a treat to go to. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the prices are outlandishly home. The food is good, really good. But it’s not so good as to be worth $30 for a fish entrée.
Our dinners were well prepared, served promptly, hot and delicious. Friendly, courteous staff. Prices in the better restaurant category.
Excellent service and fresh food. My wife had the clam chowder, which she said was fantastic. I had a chicken Caesar salad, which was also good. Sourdough bread before the meal was a great touch. The only bummer, no fish and chips!!
This is a very clean restaurant, very well kept, with good beer on tap, and a full bar. The fish here is amazingly fresh. I will say it is a pricey place, but the quality makes it worth every penny. Even the shrimp are huge and delicious. I was recommended the monk fish which was so worth it. The texture was like lobster but with flavor. The baked mashed potatoes were bomb, and the Brooklyn clam chowder, danks. My wife got the skewer of a selection of fish, it had salmon, swordfish, shrimp, and scallops on it, all which were cooked to perfection. And the 5 stars was well earned by Madison our server. She checked on us often, gave us everything quickly, all with a smile. Great service from her.
I'd say it's more for the 50+ age group. Sit down dining. Basic side dishes...fish was good. I think I'll come here to buy my fresh fish. Prices are reasonable on the fresh fish counter. Their mashed potatoes had a funny smelling Cheese sauce on top not what it was, but it sure was pungent.
