When Pigs Fly BBQ

Food was awesome we visited a week ago and man we were impressed. Had the tri tip and my wife the pulled pork. It was all delicious. Huge sides! Server was attentive. We will definitely be back. It was a little pricey but worth it.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. Good BBQ! Had the pulled pork, beans, and slaw. It was pretty quiet during that time, however that seems to be typical in the downtown historic Vista district. Service was great. Nice selection of BBQ sauces. Filled me up pretty good!

The pork rib was really good. Tender and juicy~Beef brisket was a bit dry, soso. Good portion and the was reasonable. And there's no line around 4pm. Overall it's worth to try.

I went a few months back and didn’t have a great experience. Food was cold and the Mac and cheese was clumpy and gross. I was let down but had noticed that I had showed up close to the closing time. I did have the peach cobbler which was great. I was super disappointed because I love this type of food and had heard okay things. I am happy to say we gave them another shot earlier in the evening and the food was good. It was actually hot this time which was a huge step up. Peach cobbler was super tasty still. Happy I tried again but the service still leaves a lot of room for improvement. It’s also pricey for the portions you get.

People are definitely Sleeping on this place! I know I was for a bit, always passed by but never was interested because I never saw lots of people inside. But I’m glad I finally tried it, food was great and price was reasonable for the quality of the food. Beer wasn’t poured the best, a little foumy but the main thing is the food and it was delicious. Will definitely be back with my friends next time. ????????
