El Ranchero

El Ranchero is a little hole in the wall in downtown Vista surrounded by breweries with delicious authentic Mexican food.

We weren't sure if this was going to be a "good" restaurant as at 5:30 on a Friday night there was only one other group waiting to order. We decided to give it a try (as we love Mexican food). We all had different burritos which were served with rice and beans. Everyone at the table agreed that these burritos were delicious! By the end of the evening the place was packed and now we know why! We highly recommend!

Nothing fancy here. Just amazingly good Mexican food at bargain prices.

I have been coming here for years. I would say about 18 at least. Their food is hands down the best Mexican food around. It's quaint,quiet, and very fast service. But importantly Delish!

This restaurant is far the best in Vista Village. Customer Service was great. People, please understand that this is a small pops and moms shop, so their schedule varies and that's okay. Surely at first service was awkward but eventually I talked to the owner's wife and it was great. Food is 4 stars, but it's pretty cool there. The churros, especially, is to die for.
