The Flame Broiler-Vista

Update: I felt compelled to come back and update my previous review. We've given this place another chance, and I'm happy to say that it was worth it. They've made great improvements in the areas that were lacking, and the food is good!

The reason for only 3 stars is because 2 out of the 3 times we've been here, either before noon or evening time, they don't have all menu items available, and they have their drink and sauce area torn apart, cleaning and restocking everything. Shouldn't that be done before you open? Just not an organized or pleasant dine-in experience.

Good food. Sauce pumps aren't always filled though, and that is what really brings the flavor! They literally weigh out the meat so you get the actual ounces you pay for; not more, not less.

Used to have a flame broiler in Oceanside. Came here to relive the glory. While it may taste the same, I can't believe they weigh out all their ingredients now.

Great for a quick bowl or plate. Can keep it simple with dry white meat chicken and steamed veggies or rice or go all out and add lots of items. I typically go with the bowl, it's a perfect portion size for a filling lunch but not so much that you'll feel heavy and tired if you eat the entire thing.

I loved my dinner here tonight. Enough food for 2 meals for me. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. $$ friendly.
I'll definitely be back!
