“Even though it’s a chain, the food is nice and fresh. I just get the steak tacos with rice and beans. Makes for a fresh, easy, and a great meal. Not too expensive so you can come with an appetite lol the steak is always fresh tasting and cooked usually medium. Not like some places where the steak is dried and hard! The place was clean, I feel like someone was always wiping a table down or taking the trash out. The staff is friendly and patient. They don’t rush you and offer great suggestions on what to eat. It’s definitely a good spot to go for a quick and filling meal!”

“Submarina is one of my "go to" places when I want a fresh tasting, quality ingredient sandwich. I love the soft bread, freshly-sliced deli meat, and good choice of veggies. At other sub places, the veggies look like they have been sitting all day, but here they always look great. Speaking of veggies, they have sprouts. Now I know that they are an acquired taste, and many people don't like them, but I love them! Sandwiches come in 6, 9, or 12 inch sizes. They have chips and drinks to go with it. My favorite is the Cali. Turkey and provolone cheese with bacon and avocado. It can't be a California sub without the avo. There used to be quite a few franchises in the San Diego area, but now there are not as many. So if you get a chance, stop by and enjoy a fresh tasting sub sandwich.”
