“I have been a big fan of Green Cheek for years, regularly stopping by their breweries on my way past Orange County. I was excited when I saw that they had taken over this spot from Bagby Beer. I did not order food during my first visit but the beers were everything I expected. From the reasonable prices to the great glass choices and the addition of nitro and side pour taps everything was excellent. They kept the outdoor bar open serving many of the beer choices, though not everything. While I really like the other locations, the open air atmosphere in this new Oceanside spot makes it the place to visit.”

“The sandwich we ordered was the chicken bacon ranch. It was really good. Oversized and stacked with chicken and bacon. The sandwich could easily be split and shared, it’s truly that big. “I was visiting La Jolla and walking to a coffee shop I seen online to try. However, as I was walking I saw a sign with a menu for this coffee shop. I seen “Vietnamese coffee” which is my favorite. So I figured I’d detour and check it out. It’s a very cute little shop. I was hesitant if I was going to by anything. Upon walking in, the owner Gene, was putting up air fresheners. We started chatting and his personality and friendliness made me inclined to try his coffee. There are these super cute/funny greeting cards for sale and some cool air fresheners made by his friend. Overall, coffee was delicious and atmosphere and customer service was fantastic. I will definitely go back! Thank you Gene and hope to see this coffee shop as successful as it deserves!!”

“This is a review of the hot spring pool and restaurant. The pools and relaxing courtyard were elegant, clean, and just what we wanted for a relaxing anniversary afternoon. Delicious and creative cocktails served poolside as well as a bar food menu. Lots of clean fluffy towels provided and changing rooms were spa-like. Dinner at the restaurant exceeded expectations. Vegan and vegetarian options were few but so tasty! Very kind servers and cozy, elegant ambiance. We eat out a lot and this was one of the best vegetarian meals we have had at an omnivore restaurant in San Diego area. The chef knows good flavor profiles, for sure!! Can’t wait to come back.”

“There’s a new concept dining experience opened in South Oceanside. It’s a breakfast burrito spot in the AM and a grilled cheese shop in the afternoons-evenings. Introducing… AND BREAKFAST BURRITOS! Because of their simple menu concept, they can make breakfast burritos efficiently and fast. Each burrito uses the same base ingredients (egg, cheese & garlic tots) and you just choose the protein. They have : • bacon • sausage • turkey • salami • pastrami • ham • or mix any combination You can also order call or online for faster TO-GO service; which is perfect for getting a bite before work in the morning! I HIGHLY recommend their pineapple crush drink which is made fresh and is bursting with flavor & not watered-down. They have 2 choice of salsas: • green - slight heat 🔥🔥 (2 out of 5) • red - chipotle & maple (slightly sweet & smoky) * if you ask, they even have a black truffle sauce 😉👍🏽 Their interior decor has character and I love that they even created anime cartoons to watch on the TVs. Although it is rather small inside, there’s some tables for group seating and it’s good for that “sit-down and eat quick” vibes. Their bathroom is also spotless 😊 Overall, I loved the concept of having a breakfast burrito spot that can dish out food quickly for those morning orders. In the afternoons to evenings, this establishment DOUBLES as a grilled cheese shop that also has soups and other goodies to warm you up! Brilliant concept!! Overall, I find AND BREAKFAST BURRITOS is nice addition to the South Oceanside breakfast scene.”
