Amphawa Thai Noodle House

I heard my friend talking about this restaurant before but never had a chance to come here until today. First impression that I walked in, I saw the waitress (and the owner, I think) and the chef who used to work at my husband's and my all time favorite Thai restaurant in San Francisco Bay Area, Thai House Express (closed now) so I knew the food would be good. And as expected, everything we had there was very good and authentic. I'm glad to find another great and authentic Thai food. We'll come back here again for sure!

This restaurant has great food! The service is attentive, but a little slow. The food here is quite authentic, but some dishes could use a little more heat. Also, portion sizes for some items can vary, so be sure to ask.

Nice restaurant with beautiful food! And lovely service. The heat of the food is adjustable and that's perfect for my family.

Amazing food packing with flavor that taste fresh!! Our waitress was super positive and was just the sweetest. Prices are great for what you order and can be shared for two unless you are like me and can eat the entire thing Haha! I would recommend ordering the pad see eww with the Tom soup (extra spicy)

Incredible Soups. Unusually flavorful broths. Fast, large portions, convenient location directly on Geary. Enormous menu with numerous "authentic" Thai dishes. Another example of why San Francisco is famous for these small authentic ethic Asian eateries that you rarely find anywhere outside of their orgin countries.
