Great food! The schnitzel with sauce is so delicious and so heavy I recommend to approach it as a dish for two. You have to try the Lintz dessert, it's a dream!
Excellent schnitzel, the breading is particularly crisp and delicious. The spaetzal is excellent and quite rich.
And if you ask for mustard you don't even need to specify with horseradish, they just know :)
Great staff and owner. Lots of beer options and sizes go into 5L boot. I can't comment in the food as mostly everything had one thing or other that I couldn't eat. I will say that it gets really really busy during dinner rush. We went in and got few beers and waited about 2hr or so without any luck. For that I would advise making a reservation in advance. I would also say that the owner or manager was really great, kept checking on everyone (including us) to make sure they're taken care of, and not in a creepy way but more of a caring way. I felt as if I was in a restaurant that's in small town and pretty much everyone knows everyone else. I would definitely go there again with an advance reservation.
I love Leopold's! Everyone is always so friendly. The food is very meat centric so keep that in mind. They have a spaetzle that is enormous and delicious though if you lean vegetarian. The sausage and schnitzel are killer and the beer selection is just right. Have yourself a boot and some ribs and you will have one heck of a night.
Excellent Austrian food and service. Highly recommend. Leopold's is pretty busy, with a bit of a beer hall vibe given its wooden tables and benches. The food resonates with the ambiance, featuring hearty dishes especially heavy with meat and bacon especially. Everyone I ate with loved the dish they chose, which varied from a grilled fish to a roast to my Austrian mac and cheese. Service was friendly and helpful. My only knock on Leopold's was that their beer selection was a little sub-par considering their quality of food and for a beer hall restaurant. Prices are a little on the higher side, but not exorbitant by any means, so definitely give it a look!
