Rosa Mexicano

One of my top places for quality mexican food. Great food with quality ingredients. Looking forward to returning with my coworkers. Bring your appetite because portions are filling. I can see why they have so many reviews.

I absolutely loved this place.

Full disclosure, I was a tourist from Australia and I can't compare it accurately within the market in San Francisco.

I thought the guacamole was delicious and very generous in its portion size. The bowls it was served in made it feel.like an event.

The tacos were faaar better than anything that I can get in Sydney. I had the beef and they were out of this world.

The margarita was good. Overall I found the prices to be reasonable for a quality meal.in a nice restaurant. The staff were helpful and polite.

Got a beef quesadilla (meal version). That wasn't on the menu, but was offered when I asked for it alone as my meal (was an appetizer). Would be nice if the entire menu was presented, but at least I was offered the change. Not sure if there might have been something I'd have liked more, though.

Food quality was good, tasty, and the portion was quite generous. I eat a lot, and I was FULL when I finished. Many people would have a good amount of leftovers. That helps justify the ~20 bucks I paid for the takeout meal.

So overall good, if a couple small issues. Given the location, hours, etc it is plausible I'll return.

Their guacamole is among the best I’ve ever had. However the rest of the food is pretty standard. They are great for big groups - though you’ll need to call ahead.

Great ambience and really good service. We had 3 kids who were running around but the servers were really courteous about the chaos. The only reason am giving them a 3 star is because the food wasn't the best. I've had great Mexican food in other places in the city. The enchiladas we're good but nothing else. They made fresh guac which was great.
