Food was so fresh. I'll return with my relatives. The place has a great atmosphere. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.
This place is WONDERFUL. The food is out of this world and our waiter was super friendly and super knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and was very very helpful (and damn if I didn't forget his name while writing this so sorry about that Mr. super waiter!) Edit: Remembered our Server's name- It was Martin! Thank you Thank you Martin!
The menu changes nightly and when our daughter who is vegetarian asked for help he gave her a whole slew of options that were either alterations of the menu or separate items not on the menu.
She became a little overwhelmed and shy so just opted for a green salad and he graciously asked her later if she felt she had enough to eat and wanted them to make her anything else especially for her and I could tell that she really appreciated it!
The prices are on the higher side for a week night out but reasonable. It's a complete dining experience and totally worth it- especially for a special night out like a Birthday! Everyone there was professional, friendly and caring. We'll definitely go back!
Best meal we had in San Francisco and we ate at all highly rated places. The quail was incredible! Not run of the mill food. Dinner and atmosphere were outstanding in every way. Wine list was great. Every dish that was served was perfect. Overall, just a really great dinner.
Came here for dinner and was extremely pleased we did.
Place was very busy and the food was very nice.
Prices are not too bad at around 20 upwards for appetizers and 30 up for mains.
Not sure why it's under gastro pub in Google as I would personally classified it as American restaurant than pub.
Has valet parking for those who come by car.
Fantastic dining experience and certainly lives up to all the hype. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance to get a table. The pasta appetizer with white truffle was incredible. Pork chop entree was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Desserts were fantastic and worth the caloric splurge. Service lived up to the same standard as the food - perfect evening.
