Tourist trap! But this doesn't mean it's bad, it's actually good. Good food and good service. We had the whole crab which was perfectly fine for 2 people, even though we were told it would fill only one. I'm sure there are better places to eat crab, this should be a last chance before my flight kind of restaurant. It's expensive, the whole crab was about 50 dollars and my salad was 33 dollars.
Great food and service. Ran in here one night to get out of the rain. Sat in front of the fire, and had some of the best crab I have had in years, decent selection of drinks however the beer was flat. I would definitely go out of my way to go back.
Great seafood! Service is quick. Only reason I scored it all a star down wS that the fries and crab were seasoned very intensely with garlic. They could reduce that to make it a bit better. Views are of the harbor and bay and are amazing if you manage to snag a window seat.
This place brings back a lot of good memories. And those memories are tied to the amazing crab I had almost 10 years back. I just returned again at my wife's request and we loved it again. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but worth the experience. Pier 39 is just wonderful overall.
Where do I start ???? I love crab. But this was an experience. I have no clue how Crab House prepares their crab, but it's thee BEST THING EVER. Sizzling. Hot. Dripping with garlicky buttery goodness. I could go on, but i would do it no justice. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
