    I ordered the chicken tenders and waffle with a side of collard greens. Everything was delicious. I didn't think I'd be able to finish, but it was so good. My friend had the oxtails and let me try one, fall off the bone, savory, and dripping with gravy kind of meat. We both left satisfied.

    If you live in the Bayview district and eat breakfast/brunch/lunch you got to stop by. Yummy! Shrimp and grits, to oxtail platter, and can't go wrong with fried chicken or fish. Did I say yummy!

    You got me at chicken and waffles. The skin of the Fried chicken was so good. Waffle held out firm not soggy. Loved the shrimp and grits. Yummy. Wish they had sweet potato pie.

    It would've been 5 star if the wait on the phone wasn't so damn long and then getting there to pick up and having to wait 30+ mins for our food to be ready for an phone in order! Other than that, the food is delicious! Well chicken and waffles is all I eat from there. Please Aunty April get some more people in there to help you and knows what their doing the last chicken and waffles I had the chicken was burnt! I love to support my community!

    This restaurant is the first place I've ever had fried chicken and waffles, about 5 years ago. Mind you, I have enjoyed delicious chicken and waffles before just never together. It was so good that I have dreams about their food and even took a new romantic interest there (we both live in the South Bay Area) to impress him with my knowledge of delicious restaurants. It pains me to write this review because I want this location to remain secret, yet here I am because the staff - Kayla, you are amazing - was so fantastic and the food was so darn good that it would be a culinary crime to not sing the praises of Aunty April's.
