Nice spot for quality Pizza. a favorite evening place of mine. fast and courteous service. the place has a nice atmosphere. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.
We went to Mozzeria to experience Deaf culture, because we are taking an ASL class. The surprising part was not that all of the staff was Deaf, rather, that the pizza was so delicious! The crust was fantastic, as was the sauce! We got the "marinara" which is one of the vegan options. I'm sure we will going back again!
Craft pizza. You can find the strange experimental delicious stuff, like duck out Brie cheese and pear. Great drinks; they always have solid breweries on tap and wineries on hand. Service is phenomenal, staff is attentive, accommodating and fun. Also, a great place to practice ASL (American Sign Language) it you're new or feel at home if you're Deaf or seasoned. A serious must try!
When I visited San Francisco I made sure to visit Mozzeria. I was vacationing with my mom who knows no ASL and she had a great time in a fully ASL environment. I had pizza which was fantastic.
As for access, the front entrance is wheelchair accessible and I was more than pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom was very accessible as well. Usually in tighter restaurants bathrooms are tiny and not usable by wheelchair users. Mozzeria clearly put access at the forefront and I truly appreciate that!
My favorite personal pizza in SF. The dough is absolutely perfect — chewy with some bite, thin but not too thin. The right balance of flavors to show off the ingredients. I love that the dough and pizzas are not over salted (like most other places) and the flavors are just right. The eggplant parmigiana is also amazing, very fluffy and light.
