Excellent food. Prices a little iffy for me tho. But the food is worth it

Food is real good. Owner is isuper cool and the deserts are the best for the late night munchies.

The wings are amazing! That sauce is magic. Mac and cheese was good. I'm seeing some complaints about the yams not being sweet enough but I actually like them. I prefer when they're not overly sweet. They played some great tunes while I was there, lots of 90s r&b and hip hop so they already won me with that. Great place! Check it out for the wings alone.

This is my favorite soul food spot. Good customer service and fast. The food was flavorful. I read the cornbread was a size of a dime. Not mine!!! I couldn't eat my food in one setting I had to save it for the next day! And guess what... my food was still good and fulfilling. One of my actor friends referred me to this place for a production meeting and we'll be coming back again for another one of our meetings. I'm bringing my family here for a game night!

No frills place that always seems to hit the mark. Today I had lunch at JJ's cause my taste buds were chomping at the bit to feast on the perch and chicken tenders. The food didn't disappoint. I'd have given more stars if the place had been cleaner and if the person that took my order had been friendlier. She wasn't rude, yet I believe she could have been more welcoming.
