Delicious food and a really good price. I tried the smoked duck and enjoyed going full caveman on it. Also had the pancake beef rolls which were very enjoyable as well. Two people can easily eat here for under $35.

Friendly. Quick. Very delicious food. We ordered braised eggplant, veggie dumplings, and egg-greenonion pancakes. It is def a hole in the wall - small casual place. Suggest you to try.

Just had dinner at Village House for the first time and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious -- we had several different kinds of dumplings and beef chow mein. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Our favorite part of the meal was our server. He was very kind and funny, making adorable, clever jokes throughout the meal that made this experience go from very good to outstanding. We will definitely be back!!!

This place was a pleasant surprise. I had just spent the past few hours at Hardly Strictly and my friend was craving dumplings. We ended up stumbling upon this place and loved every dish we ordered. The first thing we got was the spicy fish oil stew. This was my favorite of the four we got. The delicate texture of the fish combined with the spices really cured the chill we got from being outside late. We also got the pork and cabbage dumpling, which where a bit bland by themselves, but when covered in soy sauce were perfect. The chive pancakes were also great to snack on between stores if stew. The last thing we ordered was the tomato and egg noodle soup. It had a very subtle but welcoming sweetness that made for a good palette cleanser. As far as service goes, they worried us a bit; they didn't seem prepared to have every table in the restaurant full, and there was only one waiter. Fortunately he pulled through and everything came out in a reasonable manner. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for good food in a cozy atmosphere.

    I. LOVED. This place. I am often hard pressed to find an authentic, low-key, actually high quality Chinese restaurant and this hit all the marks. First, the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. I had to black bean sauce dish with thick (handmade) noodles and fresh cucumber and carrot, it was similar to Korean jajang but lighter yet savory. We also had some pork buns and dumplings, also fresh and perfect. The server was polite as hell. And even joked with us and had a sense of humor. The place was also airy and light, the decor was cute. And the green tea was good. Totally want to go back.

** I went back twice and it continues to rock my world ????????☯️
