    Everything about this place is perfect. Its location, its decor...even the confused chef-cashier who cooked up an amazing meal of samosas, palak paneer, and naans. The texture and the spices were homely and reminded me of home. This is a hidden gem, and for the prices there, it's a sin to die without having eaten here.

    Good food at good price and they’re open late! Free chai is great.

    The food is a little too spicy for me and I'm an Indian! For e.g the yellow dal was very spicy and dals are not supposed to be that spicy! That said, I still like the taste. It's a bit too oily for me but I still order once in a while since it's nearby and if I'm craving for a spice kick :)

    Easy menu... Nice Indian food. Decent prices. Convenient location in The Castro.
