Guerra’s To Go

bbq, mmm, so fresh. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

Very friendly staff with awesome food! Location is not as busy as the original up the block. They have party platters for Superbowl!

Nice selection of prepared meat entrees, side dishes and salads. (But not too many that it makes it hard to decide) There was no line so it was quick in and out (their meat shop the next block down had a long line out the door). They have gluten-free options and vegan, too. The clerk was very helpful. Will definitely go back for more delicious food to go.

Beyond a neighborhood gem. This place is great even for folks that don't live in the area. The daily hot dishes are always good and the sandwiches are great. I've not bought some of the staples they offer like imported dry pasta and Italian desserts but they look great too.

We were looking for a snack to tide us over and luckily made it into Guerra’s To Go right before closing. Staff was super nice although the they were obviously cleaning up to close. We ordered a brisket sandwich, some mashed potatoes, and spontaneously grabbed a pint of frozen yogurt.

The sandwich hit the spot! The bread was fluffy soft, meat was flavorful, but the coleslaw and pickles were my favorite. :D

Mashed potatoes were good. But that Greek Frozen Yogurt!! I got the orange flavor and now I need to go back and stock up. It’s creamy but light and refreshing.

Overall, it’s a great spot for good food to go in the neighborhood.
