Chaat Corner

The staff is very friendly. The food, while not "great", is very good...MUCH better than average. Based on that, alone, I would have given a 5-star rating (technically, 4.5-star, but rounded up). Unfortunately, service was slow...not "extremely slow", but MUCH slow than one would expect, ESPECIALLY when there's 2-3 servers, and only 5-6 tables seated.

Having been a server, myself, there's no reason why one server couldn't have handled the number of seated tables, but, with 2-3 servers, it should have been even better. The server who started me off was quick (he was only "filling in", while the actual server for that area was temporarily "somewhere else". However, once the server (a somewhat short male, who also didn't appear to be Indian) for that area arrived to take my food order, that's when the 'slowdown' began. To point out one specific time-point, upon finishing, and placing my plate & bowl close to the edge of the table (a VERY clear indication I was finished), I had to wait almost 10 minutes before the server showed up to my table...even though he only had 2 other tables.

one of the best spots in the area. the staff was very sociable and kind. atmosphere and food reminds me of virginia beach.

Decent food at good price. The dal was tasty and their curry was good too. They do have a lunch time deal that we could not use but is attractive.

Perfect place to have north Indian and chaat (Indian tapas), great location, friendly service, adequate sitting. During rush time you may not get few dishes but that is fair. Moderately priced.

Great value on their lunch buffet. Great selection and great value if you are a fan of sampling multiple flavors. Tried it, liked it, will go back again for lunch again!
