Very friendly staff. We had not had Shabu shabu before, but the waitress was happy to explain, without making us feel stupid. Luckily I'd had Chinese hotpot before, so found it similar. The ingredients used were fresh and delicious; we were very full afterwards. And for dessert, the green tea ice-cream was lovely.
You need to ask for a key for the bathroom, by the way, which is downstairs.

Good food and service. They should improve the ventilation system.

Just had breakfast there as I was staying at the Kimpton Hotel. Limited selection, but well prepared eggs with bacon and toast. I had their omelette on morning which was pretty good. And I also had their smoked salmon and cream cheese on toast. It came with sliced onions and capers and was good although a little light on the smoked salmon.
