Swiss Louis Italian & Seafood Restaurant

If you want to eat on Pier 39 in a good restaurant, with a nice view to the sea lions and ocean, and not expensive place. Pick Swiss Louis, they have really good food with many options for vegetarians, very polite employees and a very fair price!
It seems like there’s not much food on those plates because but they are really deep and comes a lot!

The food was ok although pricey compared to the quantity and portion. soft drinks are not good very diluted (coke and ginger Ale). if you don't consume wine or alcohol in food, this place is definitely not for you as most of the sauce for most of the plates are prepared with wine.

the view is spectacular .. that is the only thing i loved there

I went to San Francisco for my 50th birthday. I had my birthday dinner at Louis. Very elegant atmosphere. The food was wonderful. I had lobster tails. They were delicious. Their Long island ice tea was perfect. The waiter brought me a slice of cake with a candle in it. They sang Happy Birthday to me. Sad I didn't get his name. It was a great experience to end my wonderful day.

Swiss Louis is what I consider to be a 'Real Restaurant'. We were seated quickly and our table had a beautiful view. Their staff members were friendly, attentive and professional. Our food was amazing. It was great to eat at a nice restaurant with great service, good food and a welcoming atmosphere. I did not think that that restaurants such as Swiss Louis existed anymore.
