Will definitely be coming back! This pot of goodness hit the spot. Fed 3 men with a loaf of bread. We also tried an order of the crab cakes, they were different from any other crab cake I've tried. They were ok, not really my taste, but won't order them again. Next time I visit I will most likely get the mussels steamer and a side of potatoes.

This local favorite is finally back to doing good business. The dishes live up to the restaurants reputation. Their garlic bread and bread with chorizo are a must. You can't go wrong by ordering the chowder, but if you're hungry and like garlic you must try the garlic noodles with crab or chicken, either one will do the trick. Although it's a little pricey for lunch, the quality and flavor of the food doesn't disappoint.

I heard mixed reviews about this place, but I really liked it. Some of the best clam chowder I had in a long time. Crab sandwich was good and cost less than most. Oysters were yummy, but small. There drinks are ok. Of course you go there for the food. I’ve had better, but it also cost more.

Absolutely phenomenal just very pricey (but seafood usually is). Portions aren't too small, rather medium perhaps? I had the calamari steak something and substituted the pasta for vegetables to make it gluten-free. Not too many options for gluten-free, but they were nice and accommodating about the few options they could do. Very nice waitress. Parking was a problem.

This is a historic and iconic restaurant that is older than the street in front of it. The food is fresh, authentic, tasty, and amazing.
Servers are very helpful in choosing something from the menu too. There aren't a lot of places left in San Francisco from this era. Go and enjoy this one. Great seafood in a restaurant that matches it's character with quality.
