One of the bets pizzeria in town. Make sure to get the meatballs too if you eat meat. They now offer adding extra as the general order comes with 3.
Stick with the basic thought. I tried the extra buffalo cheese one for more money actually it was more soggy than the regular margarita. The 4-cheese is always a good pick from the red pie and the arugula & prosciutto is a good pick from the white pie selection.
I feel it will be completely redundant to add yet another overwhelming positive opinion regarding Delfina. But here goes... ;-)
We had a four + 2 party dinner. The +2 we're a four year old and a 1 year old, who were received warmly: the staff made a substantial effort to accommodate their food needs. Beyond that, dreamy pasta, and very special starters kicked us off on a great dinner experience. Also, all the staff know the most intimate details of every dish and the wine selection is fabulous. We had a 2006 Naima which was a first for me. And hopefully not the last !!
Classy Italian restaurant right next door to it's little brother the pizza place. Great tasting pasta and tranquil ambience !
Food’s really good. Especially the pasta. But it’s simply just way too expensive for what you’re getting (a very small portion of pasta). Italian comfort food should also be comfortable on the wallet. Waiter was also pretty inattentive. I’d go back but you’d have to convince me.
Food is amazingly good, especially the pasta. Service is excellent as well (the Asian guy serving us that night was super talkative and helpful). The only one shortcoming is the portion—I understand that in mission district it might be normal to have a pasta for $20+ but I really hope to have some more bites of Delfina’s great pasta in my plate.
