Bi-Rite Market

Very nice store, no need to go anywhere else, until you go broke. But very nice, in all seriousness. Worth the prices.

Bi-Rite market is a gem of a store. It's in my neighborhoods which makes it handy for me. It is an "upscale" store. They sell flowers and produce; fine cheeses and wine; and artesian breads. They have a complete deli. You can also get household items like cleaners, soaps, facial tissue. They have a wide variety of food and grocery items. It's really amazing because it's a tiny store. My only "complaint" is that I feel slighty claustrophobic when I shop there. However, with social distancing in place it's much better crowd-wise.

The products are of excellent quality and attractive. The attendants are friendly and fast. The aisles between the shelves are very tight, so you can't spend much time reading the ingredients. In that case you will feel like you're blocking the way. In addition, prices are more expensive than in other stores.

Love this gourmet paradise! It has everything to eat...just looking at the shelves would make you hungry! Fresh vegetables are extraordinary and all those take out items and marinated items are gorgeous. Beautiful bouquets will bring you a wonderful seasonal aroma!

This market is the best. Fit so much of everyday practical needs in a small space. Beers, wines, cheese, breads, veggies and fruit, meats and seafood.... so much more. Pliny the elder is presently available!!!
