Classic no-frills burgers, fries, and shakes (plus some alternative options). Burger is amazing -- super simple yet really tasty. Can't recommend this place enough!

This quaint little burger shop doesn't have a huge menu, but what it has is delicious. Burgers were juicy, sauce was smoky and tangy. We had the sishito peppers. Not a usual burger side, but a perfect accompaniment. The shake was thick and rich. If you are in Now Valley and looking for a quick bite, give this place a try

Nice little burger joint in Noe Valley with a fairly straightforward menu. My guess is that they aim for simplicity, modulo popular additions to burgers (double patty, cheese, bacon, avocado). The burger isn't the best in San Francisco by any means, but for a local neighborhood joint, it's actually surprisingly decent. Whether you get a burger, the fried chicken sandwich, or a hot dog, pair it with some fries and a milkshake (or beer) and you got yourself a fast, tasty, and relatively inexpensive meal.

The inside is more functional than personal, with a handful of tables and a big bench like seating in the middle of the floor. I get the sense most people who come here to eat are looking for something in between fast food and sit down, and for that, it's perfect.

Excellent value. lots of options for such a small place. very friendly to folks with gluten alergies. Hi-way has quickly become our go-to local burger joint.
Locals I talk to are super-pleased with this addition to the neighborhood.

Noe Valley finally has its own low key burger joint! (I argue Barney’s is not low key) just some simple burgers, dogs, and fries! They also have a kids combo for $8! Clean well lit establishment and friendly atmosphere. Right next to Noe Valley town square. What’s not to like?
