Really good. Best to have some shabu experience as there are a ton of choices. Loved the spicey kimchi broth. House one is very spicy (hot) and heavy on the 5 spice.
We frequently visit Jin Pot and another neighborhood hot pot place. The meat is good quality here and cut a little thicker than other places which gives you something to chew. I'm not a fan of their meatballs and dumplings, a bit too mushy.
Service is good but occasionally a little slow. Regardless, I highly recommend stopping by here.
I don't always leave a review, but I have to say not only their wayuga beef is in good quality, they also serve in a GIANT size. I won't believe such a size can appear in an AYCE shabu place. The house special sauce is amazing as well, mixed with cilantro and garlic, just fit my appetite. All the beef, seafood, tofu, mushroom, and Edamame are very fresh and quality. I feel very sorry I cannot finish them all and left a little pieces not finished. Their service is amazing as well, the waitress is very patient and has a very polite and positive attitude. I really enjoyed eating there. Besides, I arrived there at 1:30pm, and they close at 2:30pm. They didn't treat as other restaurant that remind you how much time you left. They just patiently and politely serve me until I finished. After all those hotpot place and shabu place in San Francisco, I sincerely recommend this Jin Pot place to you. You will never regret to try it.
Quality selection of meats and great service. My go to Shabu spot in the inner Richmond
Food was fresh
Broth can get Hot so be mindful of the burner temp
Tables can't be moved, so little hard for big groups too be seated together
