Delicious food and friendly service in a family style atmosphere.

This is a tiny but lovely neighborhood cafe, off-the-beaten path. Apparently very popular for couples' brunch and among locals. The staff is very warm, they know half of the patrons personally :-)
My order was delicious (see my huevos rancheros on the photo), and they have a very creative range of meals and drinks that I am dying to try. The interior is cozy, and their tableware very pretty. That said, the two TVs hurt the atmosphere.
The cafe is kid-friendly, having a high chair as well as a kid's corner.
This is not a very good place to work simply because it's so tiny: Not much space to camp yourself. That said, I will try to visit again for a breakfast.

We really enjoyed the outdoor seating and family-run vibe. The waitress's son helped lend a hand cleaning, and it was hilarious and adorable to watch. The food was good. The coffee was good too; my tastes tend to run on the sweeter side, and this coffee was certainly acidic, but in an ok way ;) The avocado was perfect.

Gaffeo coffee. I've only found this coffee in one other small coffee shop. It's the best. Another San Francisco staple. Most places you see just an employee going through the motions. This little cafe is a jewel. The owner is there making sure your order is what you asked for. It's clean the food is fresh and after working downtown the price is right. IMO we should all embrace this little cafe.

This is a reliable, cozy coffee shop. Personally, the coffee doesn't do it for me, but they do have very good juices (you can create your own combo) and the sandwiches are quite good. It's a nice little spot to take a break and the outdoor seating is a welcome touch.
