Black Hammer Brewing Company

Black Hammer is a good brewery but not a great one. Their beers are bold and creative, but the balance is off on all of them. Their heavier beers suffer from this the most. Don't visit here for the taste of the beer, visit for the awesome atmosphere and good folks behind the bar. The board games, skylight, and optional outdoor seating make this such a fun place to hang with friends or relax on your own. This brewery deserves a visit, just stick to the lighter beers.

Great crafty with an extensive list of beers. Was pretty quiet when we went in (Friday early afternoon) but the layout still carried some cool vibes. I had the Cloud Chamber which was phenomenal, one of the best beers I had on my holiday. The resident bar dog greeting people at the door was distinct bonus for wifey.
Loses a star cause prices were a little punchy

I have no gripes with this Brewery or the location at all, whatsoever. I really enjoyed my spontaneous, unplanned stop here one afternoon after lunch. Just after opening, during a weekday it was somewhat slow (majority of the time, I was the only patron) but other individuals/small groups were in and out during my time spent here. The brewtender onhand was the greatest with recommendations, as well as just convo in general and made me feel very welcomed.

Great beers, great variety of styles on hand, great indoor/outdoor vibe at this location. Everything about my visit was fantastic... including the dope painting on the wall (see pics)!

Stopped in while visiting from Delaware. Excellent small brewery! Funky vibe, friendly staff, and excellent beer! If you are a better aficionado, and you are in San Francisco check this place out!

Great brewery that we really only popped into since it was on our way to the Warriors game. And we were glad we did! Server was very friendly and the beers were excellent. A lot of eclectic choices here, so if you like experimental beers, drop by. We'll be back!
